Beauty Of Imperfection

During my studies I started working on a project about leather production. Here I discovered that many leather hides are thrown away because of imperfections.

During the project I discovered that imperfections in leather are normal and should be loved by the industry.

And so BOI (beauty of imperfection) began to form. After researching different types of leather imperfections, such as scars and wounds on the leather skin of animals, I started using these imperfections as a basis for patterns.

The patterns I make are all based on imperfections I find on the leather.
